I.I. Mechnikov ONU took part in the kick-off meeting of the international project AIRQUEST in Turkey.

As part of the implementation of the first stage of the international project “Interreg – Know What You Breathe: Mobilizing Communities for Air Quality in the Black Sea Basin” (AIRQUEST), Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University (ONU) participated in the kick-off meeting held in Zonguldak, Turkey. The meeting was organized by the project’s lead partner, Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University. ONU was represented by the project coordinator, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, A.V. Chuhay, and the project manager, Associate Professor N.M. Kryuchkova, Director of the Center for International Education.

The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to discuss the project’s current activities, clarify roles, and strengthen collaboration among partners.

All partners reaffirmed their commitment to joint efforts to achieve the project’s goals and raise awareness about air quality in the Black Sea Basin.
