AirQuest in Trabzon: Partners from 4 Countries Coordinate Steps to Improve Air Quality

On May 15–16, 2025, the 3rd Project Management Meeting of “Know What You Breathe: Mobilizing Communities for Air Quality in the Black Sea Basin” (AIRQUEST) took place in Trabzon, Turkey, bringing together representatives from all partner countries.
During the meeting, participants discussed the current state and future prospects of the project’s implementation, as well as partner reports on budget execution. Strategic steps for achieving project objectives were defined.
From I.I. Mechnikov Odesa National University, the project coordinator Dr. Anatolii Chuhai (Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection), project manager Assoc. Prof. Nataliia Kryuchkova (Director of the Center for International Education), and project participant Prof. Tymur Safranov (Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection) took part in the meeting.
Project partners from Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Romania participated in the event to coordinate project management efforts.
The meeting was hosted by DOKA – the Eastern Black Sea Development Agency.
